Passed Loved One Spirit Check & Gentle Spirit Clearing

Losing someone we love can leave us with many questions. Sometimes there may be a deep inner sense that a loved one is peaceful and has moved on. At other times, you may feel unsettled, concerned, or simply want reassurance that their transition has been completed.
A Passed Loved One Spirit Check is a gentle, compassionate spiritual service for a person or animal who has passed. The intention is to intuitively explore whether their soul appears to have crossed over peacefully or whether there may still be a connection to the earth plane requiring loving assistance.
This work is approached with respect, discernment and compassion. It is never about fear.

Passed Loved One Spirit Check & Gentle Spirit Clearing
Within many spiritual traditions, death is understood as a transition rather than an ending. In my own spiritual practice, I work with the understanding that, in rare circumstances, a soul may experience difficulty completing that transition.
This may be associated with confusion, fear, sudden or traumatic passing, emotional attachment, unfinished concerns, or simply not fully recognising that physical life has ended.
A passed loved one spirit check gently explores whether the person or animal appears to have transitioned fully and peacefully.
If everything feels complete, nothing further needs to be done.
If I perceive that assistance may be helpful, the process becomes one of compassion rather than confrontation — supporting the soul in releasing fear, confusion or attachment and encouraging a peaceful movement toward healing, light and reunion.
Why Might a Loved One Feel Close After Passing?
It is very common for people to continue feeling emotionally connected to someone they love after death. Some people experience vivid dreams, familiar scents, a sense of presence, meaningful signs, or moments in which their loved one feels particularly close. Experiences of this kind have also been documented in research into after-death communication experiences.
Dreams involving someone who has passed can be deeply meaningful. Research into dreams of deceased loved ones has found experiences ranging from comforting encounters and messages to more emotionally difficult dreams.
From a spiritual perspective, some people experience something slightly different — a persistent feeling that their loved one is unsettled, confused or has not fully moved forward.
There is no need to assume that either experience means something is wrong.
A deceased loved one spirit check is simply available for those who feel intuitively drawn to seek reassurance.

How Does the Remote Spirit Check Work?
The session is carried out remotely, so neither you nor the person being checked needs to be physically present with me.
I begin by grounding, centring and connecting with my spiritual guidance before intuitively checking the energy and consciousness of the person or animal who has passed.
Through focused intuitive connection and spiritual guidance, I explore whether the transition appears complete.
Where appropriate, I may gently communicate with the consciousness in question to understand what appears to be holding them close to the earth plane.
The intention is always loving and non-confrontational.
If fear, confusion, attachment or another unresolved energetic influence is perceived, the soul is encouraged to recognise that its physical journey has ended and that it is safe to continue onward.
There is nothing forceful about this process. Compassion, free will and spiritual sovereignty remain central throughout the work.
Helping a Spirit Cross Over Peacefully
When assistance is required, the focus is not on removing or fighting a spirit.
It is about helping.
A soul that appears confused or attached is treated with the same compassion we would offer any being experiencing fear or uncertainty.
Through loving spiritual guidance, reassurance and energetic support, the intention is to help the consciousness release what has been keeping it close to the physical world and move toward peace.
For me, these moments can be incredibly moving.
There can be a profound sense of lightness and completion — as though something that had been waiting has finally recognised that it is safe to continue its journey home.
What Might You Notice Afterwards?
Every experience is different, and there is no particular sensation you need to experience for the session to have meaning.
Some clients describe feeling calmer or more reassured once the check has been completed.
Where a clearing has also taken place, people sometimes report that a previously uncomfortable environment feels lighter, warmer or more peaceful. Others describe sleeping more peacefully or simply noticing that the concern they previously carried has eased.
Occasionally there may be a subtle intuitive impression — a feeling of gratitude, peace or completion.
For others, there may be no dramatic sensation at all.
The purpose of the passed loved one spirit check is not to create an experience, but to approach your concern with compassion and provide whatever insight arises during the session.

Grief, Love and Continuing Connection
The bond we have with someone does not disappear simply because they have died.
Love, memories and the emotional connection we shared can continue throughout our lives. Modern bereavement approaches also recognise the idea of maintaining a healthy continuing bond with someone who has died rather than believing that grieving requires completely disconnecting from them.
A spiritual check is therefore not about encouraging you to let go of your loved one.
It is about exploring whether their own transition feels peaceful while allowing your love and memories of them to remain.
This service is spiritual in nature and is not a replacement for professional bereavement, psychological or medical support. If grief is becoming overwhelming or significantly affecting your everyday life, compassionate grief support can be extremely valuable alongside spiritual practices.
Passed Loved One Checks for Animals
This service can also be requested for a beloved animal who has passed.
The relationship we have with our animals can be extraordinarily deep, and their passing can leave the same questions, sadness and longing that accompany the loss of any deeply loved family member.
A gentle spirit check can be carried out in the same way to explore whether their transition appears peaceful and complete.
Passed Loved One Checks for Animals
The standard Passed Loved One Spirit Check is offered on a donation basis.
When you submit the name of your loved one, they will be added to my pro bono list. These checks are completed when time allows, so there is no guaranteed turnaround time. You will be notified once the check has been completed.
If you would prefer a detailed report or require an urgent or emergency check, a paid option is available.
